Ghost Suns - 2021 /2023
Staged in the studio, the photographs are arranged with objects, materials and light to form a new image with heterogeneous scales, which I then photograph. The result is a fragmented vision, disturbed by the extraction from the depths of the earth and from human beings - like a hallucinated geology of the scattered fragments of "our" earth.
Photography can be a sorcerer, an alchemist of surfaces who transforms the states of visible matter. Rocks, sand and water respond to prisms and lenses in impossible scales. Phantom suns" illuminate a strange and chaotic earth, our own? 130x200cm silkscreen prints mounted on dibond A project supported by the french Culture's Ministry "Art en entreprise" scheme, with the Mignotgraphie printing works, the Institut pour la Photographie des Hauts-de-France and as part of the major "Radioscopie de la France" commission by the BNF.
